In order to continuously lead innovation in hotel management and service quality improvement, promote the widespread dissemination and in-depth practice of scientific research innovation across society, and gather outstanding research and hotel management talents from various fields to build a think tank team that is both large-scale and creative, as well as courageous in taking responsibility, the Singapore Hotel Association has developed the following standards and responsibilities for the Special Advisor in line with the current situation:
I. Appointment Standards
1. Below 55 years of age, in good health, with the ability for continuous learning and innovation, and significant influence in the field of hotel management or related industries.
2. Strictly complies with relevant Japanese and international laws and regulations, adheres to professional ethical standards, and aligns with and practices the cultural philosophy and values of the Association.
3. Possesses rich practical experience in hotel management, service operations, or related industries, maintaining close cooperation with many well-known hotels or institutions both domestically and internationally, with abundant experience in hotel strategic planning and execution.
4. Has achieved significant accomplishments in hotel service innovation, customer experience enhancement, service communication strategies, and other areas, with numerous industry-recognized innovation cases or research achievements, demonstrating forward-thinking and excellent innovation ability.
5. Holds widely recognized professional insights and successful cases within the industry, capable of leading hotel management development trends, elevating the overall industry level, and enjoys a prestigious reputation both domestically and internationally.
6. Successfully helps hotels improve service value, expand market share, and increase economic benefits through the implementation of hotel management strategies, while paying attention to fulfilling social responsibilities.
II. Job Responsibilities
1. Participate in the strategic planning and formulation of hotel management for the Association, providing forward-looking and actionable advice to the Association and partner hotels.
2. Undertake research tasks in areas such as hotel management and customer experience enhancement, providing professional consultation and evaluation for the Association’s research projects, thus promoting the transformation and application of research results.
3. Use personal resources and influence to assist the Association in promoting hotel management research results, enhancing hotel service exposure and influence, and promoting the formation of service consensus.
4. Actively participate in international hotel management exchanges and cooperation, advancing the internationalization of Japanese hotel services and promoting economic and cultural exchanges between China and other countries.
5. Cultivate professional talents in hotel management and service operations for the Association and partner hotels, offering practical guidance and career development advice.
6. Organize high-end events such as hotel management forums and seminars, based on the Association’s platform, to promote academic exchange and cooperation in the hotel management field.
7. Complete other important tasks assigned by the Association related to hotel management and customer experience research.
