At the National Science and Technology Conference, National Science and Technology Award Conference, and Academician Conference of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering held from Jun. 24 to 25, the Fuxing high-speed train project won the Special Prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award, setting an international benchmark for high-speed train technology. The achievement of this award cannot be separated from the assistance of Beecore Honeycomb.

This not only greatly improves the strength and stability of high-speed train materials, but also breaks through the technological bottleneck of lightweight, achieving a weight reduction of about 30% and a speed increase of 10%, becoming an ideal material choice for high-end manufacturing. For high-speed train application scenarios, Beecore Honeycomb utilizes Pinhole Type Breathable Aluminum Honeycomb Core and Pinhole Structure Honeycomb Core, effectively solving the problem of poor breathability of traditional honeycomb materials. While ensuring breathability, it maintains good thermal and sound insulation performance, providing a more comfortable and healthy internal environment for the Fuxing. Moreover, the fiber welded honeycomb panels provided by Beecore Honeycomb achieve seamless connection between materials through advanced welding technology, further enhancing the overall integrity and safety of the carriage structure, providing a solid guarantee for the safe and high-speed operation of the Fuxing. This innovation not only reflects Beecore Honeycomb's ultimate pursuit of details, but also highlights its profound foundation in the field of materials science.
With the technical support of Beecore Honeycomb, the Fuxing high-speed train has overcome a series of global challenges such as running resistance, energy consumption, noise, and smoothness. The key core technologies are independently controllable, achieving safe and efficient operation. Since the successful development and operation of the Fuxing high-speed train, it has formed a series of products covering different speed levels of 350 kilometers per hour and 250 kilometers per hour, with various formation types such as 8 cars, 16 cars, and 17 cars, as well as different configurations such as standard, high-altitude, and intelligent, to adapt to wide area environment operation and meet passenger travel needs.
Through the development of the Fuxing high-speed train, China has established a complete technical standard system for high-speed trains, created an independent and controllable industrial chain supply chain composed of thousands of enterprises, cultivated and formed a high-end equipment industry chain in the field of rail transit, and made important contributions to enhancing the advantages of China's equipment manufacturing industry and realizing the modernization of the industrial chain.
As of the end of 2023, the Fuxing high-speed train has been put into use with a total of 1194 standard sets, transporting 2.2 billion passengers and safely running 2.34 billion kilometers. Its operating range covers 30 provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities, and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. The Fuxing high-speed train runs on the vast land of the motherland. At the same time, the Ya'an-Wan'an high-speed train developed based on the Fuxing technology platform will be put into use in Indonesia's Ya'an-Wan'an high-speed train in October 2023, and the Hungarian Cypriot high-speed train will be first unveiled in Serbia in June 2024, which provides China's plan, Chinese technology, and Chinese wisdom for the world's railway development, and plays a positive role in achieving high-level opening up and promoting the high-quality development of the joint construction of the ‘the Belt and Road’.
It is precisely based on these outstanding technological innovations and outstanding performance in practical applications that the application project of Suzhou Beecore Honeycomb's honeycomb material technology on the Fuxing high-speed train has won the International Science and Technology Award. This honor is not only an international recognition of Beecore Honeycomb's technological innovation capabilities, but also a strong support for the high-quality development of China's high-speed train manufacturing industry.
